Parent Code of
Conduct
Imagine yourself in the playground, overhearing another
parent discuss your child. What they are discussing was
based on information they gathered as a volunteer. It
was a snapshot of a moment in time.
In order to respect our
families and staff we must agree not to gossip about
what we see or hear of children and staff while
volunteering. At Chantrell Creek we want to set the bar
very high, and therefore after consultation with Class
Parents and Staff we agreed at the last PAC meeting to
establish a Code of Conduct.
Code of Conduct
I understand that to maintain a healthy school
environment it is imperative that I respect the
confidentiality of everyone in the classroom by not
gossiping about anything I see or hear whilst
volunteering. A reminder of this Code of Conduct will be
placed on the volunteer sign-in book at the office.
If you have any
concerns or questions regarding these Codes of Conduct
please contact the School
Principal.
