At Chantrell Creek, we are a professional learning community with a focus on student achievement.  Distractions such as what students wear to school are not welcomed. Everyone should wear clothing that reflects respect for the school and its purpose, their peers and their commitment to doing their best. Common sense should be the guiding principle.

So clothing that is clearly not intended for a school environment such as swim wear, pajamas or evening attire is not permitted. We expect that students be appropriately covered up without any underwear or straps showing. Tummies, cleavage and backsides should also be covered up. Images and messages on clothing should be respectful and not promote drugs, alcohol or illegal activities. And at our school we do not wear hats or sunglasses inside the building.

Your assistance as parents, in allowing us to keep our focus on learning and positive school activities, and reducing as much as possible the need for the school to waste valuable time and energy on distractions such as what students wear to school would be most appreciated.

We urge parents and students to keep valuables (money, jewellery, electronic toys and gadgets) at home as we cannot be responsible for their loss or theft.
